A FSBO System® Counselor enjoys a rewarding career and a satisfying life. Any licensed Realtor in the US or Canada is eligible. (If you live in Florida, we are recruiting!)
First, and importantly, the FSBO System® is legally compliant, and will work, in every market in North America.
And it is impeccable. In over 4,000 transactions, there has never been a legal, regulatory, ethical or security issue for the Company, any employee, any client, or any buyer.
Here is how to launch a career with us:
Step 1: Test Drive. When you complete the Counselor Training Course, you will get an IP license to provide the FSBO System® to home sellers in your market. They follow the Tutorial, and you provide them with some basic services, including an MLS listing, a CMA, marketing coaching and legal compliance. (You are not their full-service agent). We provide you with ongoing support. And since this is an IP license, not a franchise, there are no fees and few rules.
This is a different real estate practice. You don’t have to jump in with both feet on Day One. You can continue as a conventional agent, and in many instances, you can stay in your current office.
Successful Counselors will quickly discover that their FSBO System® practice is more lucrative, easier, more fun, and a better work-life balance, compared to being a conventional agent. When you’re ready, you can take the next step.
Step 2: Open a FSBO System® Real Estate Office. It is a great small business. For instance, the flagship Anchorage office has had 26 years of operating history and over 4,000 clients. In recent years, the two Counselors typically handled about 175 clients and grossed about $470,000 annually. (For comparison, Anchorage has a population of 300,000 and a median home value of $350,000.)
Best of all, you don’t have to work evenings or weekends. (You’re their Counselor, not their full-service agent,) And there are still no fees and few rules.
Step 3: Control Your Market. When you’ve built a proven track record you can obtain an Exclusive License to offer FSBO System® in your community or state.
The up-front fee is modest (one cent per resident). An Exclusive License comes with extra training and support, and a huge matching grant to kickstart your marketing campaign. There are no other fees, but there are some rules. For instance, you will need a development plan and the resources to achieve a 4% market share within three years.
